Attorney
John Obora has been a lawyer in Newark, Ohio since 1986. He initially worked for a little more than 3 years as an associate at the law office of Virginia Weiss. Since that time he has maintained his own private practice in downtown Newark.
Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, Mr. Obora graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio before getting his law degree from The Ohio State University College of Law.
In the past 25 years Mr. Obora has represented clients all across the State of Ohio in a wide variety of matters.
An active member of the community, Mr. Obora, has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Pataskala Library, the Southwest Licking Little League and the Southwest Licking Educational Foundation, as well as serving as a member of the Southwest Licking Schools Financial Advisory Committee. Mr. Obora is also a long-time youth baseball coach and a member of Local 103 of the American Federation of Musicians.
Linda Obora is not only our office manager – she is also John’s wife. She does exceptionally well in both of these challenging jobs. They have 2 children.
